Since 1991, some of the Project 05074 vessels have been modernized to improve their sailing class and enhance their seaworthiness:
the hull was shortened, the molded depth was increased, the hitches were removed, the holds were retrofitted, and the class was upgraded from “O” and “O-PR” to “M-SP”.
